CUMULUS Country WIVK/KNOXVILLE PD NIKKI THOMAS tells ALL ACCESS the search is on for a new midday personality, following YESTERDAY’s news that 28-year station vet COLLEEN ADDAIR is stepping down (NET NEWS 10/3).

THOMAS says the shift will be handled by part time staff in the interim, adding, “If you know anyone who is engaging, warm, caring, funny, friendly, and genuine (on air and in the hallways), please send them our way.” Reach THOMAS here.

In a FACEBOOK post yesterday, ADDAIR told followers, “after prayer, and Godly council, I'm confident that this is the right decision.” Said THOMAS, “It's one of the beautiful things about [COLLEEN’s] show, and my heart hurts knowing how important she is, and how deeply she'll be missed.”
