Sherman & Tingle Join WDRV (The Drive)/Chicago For Mornings

HUBBARD Classic Rock WDRV (THE DRIVE)/CHICAGO adds THE SHERMAN & TINGLE SHOW to mornings. Hosted by BRIAN SHERMAN and STEVE TINGLE, THE SHERMAN & TINGLE SHOW will debut OCTOBER 31st, replacing THE MORNING DRIVE, currently led by PETE MCMURRAY, SCOTT MILLER and KATHY VOLTMER.

This marks a reunion for SHERMAN & TINGLE, who previously spent five years together hosting afternoons, then mornings on crosstown Alternative WKQX from 2007 to 2011.

WDRV PD ROB CRESSMAN said, "This is a very exciting new chapter for THE DRIVE. We are eager to welcome BRIAN and STEVE back to CHICAGO and look forward to offering our region’s commuters a fresh take on Classic Rock, captivating entertainment and local information each morning.”

TINGLE went on to co-host mornings at BEASLEY BROADCASTING Top 40/R WRDW/PHILADELPHIA -- and from there, he joined the morning team at LINCOLN FINANCIAL/ENTERCOM Hot AC WSTR (STAR 94)/ATLANTA.

SHERMAN enjoyed a short hiatus from the industry in 2011 and later joined MATRIX BROADCASTING Classic Rock WFXF (THE FOX)/CRYSTAL LAKE, IL where he has hosted mornings for several years.

SHERMAN  said, "We’re getting the band back together." TINGLE added, "We’re on a mission from God. When you get to be in the city you love, working with the people you love working with at the best station in CHICAGO, and the best company in the business? How can it get any better?"
