WDAE/Tampa Drops Local Morning Show, Adds ESPN Radio's 'Mike & Mike'

iHEARTMEDIA Sports WDAE-A-W237CW/TAMPA has dropped its local morning show with TAMPA BAY TIMES writers RICK STROUD and TOM JONES and is replacing them with ESPN RADIO's syndicated "MIKE AND MIKE" with MIKE GREENBERG and MIKE GOLIC.

STROUD and JONES were let go after FRIDAY's show.  The move met with resistance from fans on social media, who decried the switch from a local to a national show in mornings.
