RADIO ONE Classic Hip-Hop KSOC (BOOM 94.5)/DALLAS has made format and on-air adjustments. The station has expanded the playlist to include R & B Oldies with a new moniker; Classic Hip-Hop and Throwback R & B.
REACH MEDIA (RADIO ONE subsidiary) syndicated THE ED LOVER is being replaced in the morning and a new lineup is in place. Returning to AM drive is “THE MARK MCCRAZY Experience” featuring OM/PD MARK 'MCCRAZY' MCCRAY, INDY B, and DJ MENACE; MCCRAY had been doing midday. CINDI B slides over from part-time to middays, and G-SPOOK makes the transition to PM drive from sister-station--Top-40/Rhythmic KBFB (97.9 THE BEAT). In addition, DJ MO DAVE will handle the TRAFFIC JAM MIX from 4:30 to 5:30p. (CT)
VP/GM TAMI HONESTY said, “It’s all about delivering live and local programming for our listeners. We’re excited about our new line-up and BOOM’s enhanced playlist. We’re still featuring the best in classic Hip-Hop and now, we will add the best in Throwback R&B to our rotation.”
