EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling W273DA/CHARLOTTE, NC to BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $150,000. The primary station is listed as Country WSOC-F/CHARLOTTE, which carries Sports WFNZ-A on its HD2 channel.

In other filings with the FCC, KENT STATE UNIVERSITY is selling W225BZ/ASHLAND, OH to CUMULUS' RADIO LICENSE HOLDING CBC, LLC for $40,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Sports WRIE-A (SPORTS RADIO AM 1260 THE SCORE)/ERIE, PA.

CRS RADIO HOLDINGS, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WFAY-A/FAYETTEVILLE, NC due to flooding from Hurricane Matthew.

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has filed for a Silent STA for W220EM/TOLEDO, OH due to interference problems.

EDGAR EATON has closed on the sale of KRLZ/LINCOLN BEACH, OR to RICHARD A. LINN for $125,000.

WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA PUBLIC RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of W258CR/BRYSON CITY, NC (now W270CY/AUGUSTA, GA) to BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $45,000.  The buyer is moving the translator to rebroadcast News-Talk WGAC-A/AUGUSTA, GA; WGAC presently simulcasts on full-power WGAC-F/HARLEM-AUGUSTA, GA.

And FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. has closed on the sale of K252DO/MADERA, CA to KAHI CORP. for $28,500. FIRST VENTURES has also closed on the sale of K260CQ/YUMA, CO to LEGACY COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $25,000, with the buyer plans to move to rebroadcast News-Talk KRGI-A/GRAND ISLAND, NE, and the sale of K266BB/FORT MORGAN, CO to LEGACY COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $25,000, which the buyer plans to move to rebroadcast Oldies KUVR-A/HOLDREDGE, NE.

Also, in a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, ROCKING M MEDIA is planning to spin off one of the stations it announced this week that it is acquiring from ALPHA MEDIA.  ROCKING M is selling AC KBLS (SUNNY 102.5)/NORTH FORT RILEY, KS to MANHATTAN BROADCASTING CO. for an undisclosed price.
