Amani Abraham Exits Rubber City Radio/Akron To Join WKYC-TV/Cleveland

RUBBER CITY RADIO News-Talk WAKR-A and Country WQMX/AKRON anchor/reporter AMANI ABRAHAM is leaving the stations to join TEGNA's NBC affiliate WKYC-TV/CLEVELAND as a reporter in the station's AKRON-CANTON Mobile Newsroom.

ABRAHAM joined the RUBBER CITY cluster in 2011 after graduating from the UNIVERSITY OF AKRON, where she was a host on the school's ZTV "MOVING FORWARD" show airing on ION affiliate WVPX-TV/CLEVELAND and at WZIP/AKRON. She won "Best Reporter in OHIO" honors this year from the SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS.
