U-Turn: Wisconsin Host Who Walked Off Show Citing Political Climate Returns To Air

Host Comes Back

MID-WEST FAMILY BROADCASTING Sports WAYY-A-W286CK/EAU CLAIRE, WI morning co-host JOHN MURPHY returned to the air FRIDAY after he walked off his show early on THURSDAY (NET NEWS 10/14),  saying that the political climate and discourse has led him to be "through doing the show as it is."

The EAU CLAIRE LEADER TELEGRAM reports that MURPHY, host of the morning show for 14 years, came back to co-host a non-political show with former midday team LUC ANTHONY and DAN KASPER ("LUC AND THE CAPTAIN") 7-10a (CT) weekdays, with the working title of "NO POLITICS ZONE."   MURPHY told the paper that his former morning co-host BOB BOSOLD "also may be involved at times."
