HOWARD STERN won't be replaying tapes of his past interviews with DONALD TRUMP, the SIRIUSXM host said on his show TODAY (10/17), and he criticized reports that claim to have only now discovered incriminating comments TRUMP made on his show.
Comparing the conversations he had with TRUMP to the now-infamous "ACCESS HOLLYWOOD" BILLY BUSH bus tape, STERN, who has said he is supporting HILLARY CLINTON for President, noted that his talks with TRUMP were "on the radio" and added, "I feel DONALD TRUMP did the show in an effort to be entertaining and have fun with us, and I feel like it would be a betrayal to any of our guests if I sat there and played them now where people are attacking him." He added that the conversations were made to entertain the audience, because "I knew I had a guy who loved to talk about sex."
The WASHINGTON POST reported on FRIDAY (10/14) about TRUMP's STERN appearances, with a headline characterizing the material, aired between 2002 and 2013, as "new tapes." Among the comments the POST included were a story about TRUMP inviting his then-wife IVANA TRUMP and his then-mistress, later-wife MARLA MAPLES on a 1990 ASPEN ski trip; sexual preferences of Miss Universe; the sexual attractiveness of LINDSAY LOHAN, then 18 years old; TRUMP's daughter IVANKA's sex life (TRUMP interjecting "Actually, I don’t want to know. I don’t want to hear it”); how his looks ("I'm a very handsome guy") have helped him attract beautiful women; KIM KARDASHIAN ("Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat ass? Absolutely"); and POPE BENEDICT XVI, who was preparing to resign ("He should just give up and die. He looks so bad").
