Beasley Sells Charlotte Spinoffs WBT, WLNK, WFNZ To Entercom

BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP's CHARLOTTE market spinoffs are being sold to ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS CORP. for $24 million. The stations include News-Talk WBT-A-F, Sports WFNZ-A-W273DA (THE FAN), and Hot AC WLNK (107.9 THE LINK) and are being spun off to comply with FCC ownership rules with BEASLEY's acquisition of GREATER MEDIA; WBT and WLNK were acquired as part of the GREATER MEDIA deal. ENTERCOM will take over WBT and WLNK under a time brokerage agreement on NOVEMBER 1st and WFNZ on JANUARY 1st if the deal has not yet closed.
