Bruno Mars Will Open American Music Awards Telecast On ABC

BRUNO MARS will open the 2016 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, it was announced by DICK CLARK PRODUCTIONS and ABC. The world’s largest fan-voted award show will broadcast live from the MICROSOFT THEATER in LOS ANGELES on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20th at 8p (ET) on ABC. 

This marks MARS’ first performance on the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS. In 2011, he took home the trophy for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, and has been nominated seven times throughout his career.

MARS recently released his brand-new single “24K Magic,” which debuted this week at #5 on the BILLBOARD Hot 100, marking his highest debut to date and his 13th Hot 100 Top 10. MARS is set to release his highly anticipated third album 24K Magic on NOVEMBER 18th.
