Louisiana Rising Benefit Concert Highlights To Air On AXS TV, Raycom Media Stations

"LOUISIANA Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Relief" highlight show will air on AXS TV TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25th at 11p (ET)/8p (PT). This one-hour edited special, produced by TUPELO-HONEY RAYCOM, will highlight many of the great moments and performances of the live broadcast as a thank you to all of those who supported the flood relief efforts in LOUISIANA, and an opportunity to assist the AMERICAN RED CROSS with their continuing efforts by making a donation.

HARRY CONNICK, JR., and RANDY JACKSON co-hosted from BATON ROUGE’s RIVER CENTER THEATER, alongside local native performers BETTER THAN EZRA, AARON NEVILLE, HUNTER HAYES and CHRIS THOMAS KING. Aside from AXS TV, select RAYCOM MEDIA stations will also air the special throughout the month of OCTOBER. Check local listings.

Throughout the special MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY, ELLEN DeGENERES, DREW BREES, ELI MANNING, ODELL BECKHAM JR., JOHN GOODMAN, BRITNEY SPEARS, JAMES TAYLOR, TRACE ADKINS, GOVERNOR JOHN BEL EDWARDS, AMY GRANT, VINCE GILL, TIM McGRAW and others will lend messages of support.

One of the highlights of the one-hour special is the rousing conclusion as HARRY CONNICK JR. took to the piano with all artists on stage singing “You Are My Sunshine,” which is one of LOUISIANA’s state songs made popular by former state Governor JIMMIE DAVIS.
