CBS Detroit Presents BMI Singer Songwriter Series

On WEDNESDAY (10/19), CBS RADIO/DETROIT began a four-day DETROIT BMI Singer Songwriter Series,

Musicians taking part include HUNTER HAYES, LOCASH, BRETT YOUNG, UNCLE KRACKER, JACOB WHITESIDES, TINASHE and more. Songwriters sharing wisdom with the attendees include CASEY BEATHARD, WENDELL MOBLEY, MICHAEL RAY, JERROD NIEMANN and JOE NICHOLS.

The event is dedicated to music and those who create it. DETROIT music fans are being introduced to the faces, voices and stories behind their favorite songs though unique and up-close showcases.

Last night, Top 40 WDZH (98-7 AMP RADIO) hosted a double bill of entertainment at downtown's HARD ROCK CAFE featuring TINASHE and JACOB WHITESIDES who performed and shared stories with the audience.  Host of the event, AMP APD IAN 'SLACKER' RICHARDS told ALL ACCESS, "It was a great night.  The place was packed and the performers killed it!  JACOB WHITESIDES went the extra mile and wouldn't leave until he met every fan!"

The event wraps up TOMORROW (10/22) at a special show featuring HUNTER HAYES, LOCASH and UNCLE KRACKER.
