Less than two months after launching a weekend show for HOWIE CARR's NEW ENGLAND-regional radio network and online (NET NEWS 9/7), former major league pitcher turned conservative pundit CURT SCHILLING is joining BREITBART NEWS for a daily online talk show with a video livestream planned. "WHATEVER IT TAKES WITH CURT SCHILLING" will stream at 9-11a (ET) weekdays, beginning TOMORROW (10/25). The move was first reported by NEW YORK MAGAZINE's GABRIEL SHERMAN.
SCHILLING, fired from ESPN after controversial political and social comments and tweets, including sharing a post supporting NORTH CAROLINA's transgender bathroom law, and involved in a video game startup that failed and left the state of RHODE ISLAND on the hook for millions in funding, launched his weekend show with mostly online delivery; the show was also picked up by BINNIE MEDIA News-Talk WNNH (NH1)/HENNIKER-CONCORD, NH. Neither BREITBART's release nor SHERMAN's report makes any mention of the existing weekend show and whether it will continue with CARR's network.
