On the heels of XM RADIO admitting a significant percentage of its terrestrial repeaters weren't located where they were authorized to be, or were operating at incorrect power, comes word that SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO is admitting it's got some illegally operating ground repeaters.
FCC filings by SIRIUS requesting Special Temporary Authority to fix the problems were filed for 11 seperate repeaters. SIRIUS is requesting permission to continue operating them as-is for 30 days.
