Two popular existing podcasts have been added to PRX's RADIOTOPIA podcast network, bringing the network's total to 16 shows.
"THE WEST WING WEEKLY," a show about the TV series (and more) hosted by JOSHUA MALINA, one of the TV show's stars, and "SONG EXPLODER"'s HRISHIKESH HIRWAY, is up to the fifth episode of the second season of the TV show and was added to the network last month; "THE BUGLE" is the relaunched version of the satirical news analysis show founded by JOHN OLIVER and ANDY ZALTZMAN, making its return YESTERDAY with OLIVER, now host of "LAST WEEK TONIGHT" on HBO, "retired" from the podcast and ZALTZMAN, based in LONDON, joined by a rotating cast of comedians and satirists, including WYATT CENAC, HARI KONDABOLU, ANUVAB PAL, NISH KUMAR, and ZALTZMAN's sister HELEN, the host of podcasts "THE ALLUSIONIST" and "ANSWER ME THIS!"
“Bringing on THE WEST WING WEEKLY and THE BUGLE is an exciting development for RADIOTOPIA,” said RADIOTOPIA Executive Producer JULIE SHAPIRO. “The decision is in keeping with our mission to support the best independent and entrepreneurial talent in podcasting, and to uphold top quality content across our shows. These shows help us expand into new areas of entertainment, political news and satire, which will ultimately help strengthen the RADIOTOPIA brand and bring new audiences to all shows within the network.”
