Buyer Found For Silent Palm Springs AM Pair; Lafayette, IN Cluster Gets New Owner

RIC and ROZENE SUPPLE's R & R RADIO CORPORATION is selling Silent KPSI-A/PALM SPRINGS, CA and KWXY-A/CATHEDRAL CITY, CA to GARRY WING's DESERT BROADCASTERS LLC for $375,000.  The buyer recently bought K284CB/PEACH SPRINGS, AZ  from AIRCRAFT STORAGE SOLUTIONS, LLC for $20,000 plus a program carriage agreement with the intent to move the translator to rebroadcast KPSI.

In other filings with the FCC, DAVID W. WINTERS' QUICKSILVER BROADCASTING LLC is selling Classic Rock WMZK (Z104) and Classic Country WJMT-A (PATRIOT COUNTRY 730)/MERRILL, WI to WRVM, INC. for $260,000.  The buyer plans to convert the stations to noncommercial status.

ALEX BERGER 's ALEX MEDIA, INC. is selling Silent KPDS/BLANCA, CO to PAUL R. BOSSERT's MAINSTREET BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $55,000.

SUN SIGNALS LLC is selling W273BH/MIDDLEBURY, VT to SUGAR RIVER MEDIA, LLC for $90,000.  The buyer plans to move the station to rebroadcast Country WCVR-A (REAL COUNTRY 1320)/RANDOLPH, VT.

JAMES R. HENDERSON is selling W269CG/PRICEVILLE, AL to LIFETALK RADIO, INC. for $35,000.  The buyer plans to move the station to rebroadcast Religion WBLC-A/LENOIR CITY, TN.

CALL COMMUNICATIONS GROUP, INC. is selling W291CE/MARATHON, FL to FORT MYERS BROADCASTING COMPANY for $55,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Spanish Adult Hits WNPL-A (JUAN 1460)/GOLDEN GATE-NAPLES, FL.

WEST VIRGINIA EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING AUTHORITY has filed for a Silent STA for WVKM/MATEWAN, WV while it awaits a custom mount for its construction of new facilities.

HISPANIC FAMILY CHRISTIAN NETWORK, INC. has applied for Silent STAs for K229CO/HILLSBORO, TX and K225BR/AZLE, TX while transitioning to a new primary station.

FAMILY STATIONS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for K202BY/ENID, OK due to failure of its satellite receiver.

CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING GROUP OF MOUNTAIN HOME, INC. has asked the FCC for a Silent STA for K224CF/WEST PLAINS, MO due to antenna issues.

VIC MICHAEL's CEDAR COVE BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of W208BU/BERWICK. PA to FOREVER MEDIA's FM RADIO LICENSES, LLC for $40,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Classic Country WHVR-A (REAL COUNTRY 1280)/HANOVER-YORK, PA.

And VINIKOOR FAMILY FOUNDATION, INC. has closed on the sale of Classical WSCS/NEW LONDON, NH to ROBERT and JOHN LANDRY's SUGAR RIVER FOUNDATION, INC. for $10,000.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, ART ANGOTTI's ARTISTIC MEDIA PARTNERS, INC. is selling four LAFAYETTE, IN stations, Country WYCM (YOUR COUNTRY 95.7)/ATTICA, IN; Adult Hits WBPE (95.3 BOB FM)/BROOKSTON, IN; and Top 40 WAZY-F (Z96.5) and Sports WSHY-A (FOX SPORTS 1410)/LAFAYETTE, to LAFAYETTE TV, LLC for $2.3 million.  The buyer is headed by BILL CHRISTIAN and MIKE REED and owns low power TV station WPBI-LD/LAFAYETTE, on which they plan to launch FOX and NBC affiliates for the LAFAYETTE market, which has previously only had CBS on local TV and receives the other networks from INDIANAPOLIS stations.  KALIL & CO., INC. served as exclusive broker for the transaction.
