KGSR/Austin Names Emily McIntosh Interim PD

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Triple A KGSR/AUSTIN, TX, has named MD EMILY McINTOSH Interim PD.  She replaces former PD HALEY JONES.

"EMILY has done an outstanding job managing the day-to-day operations for the station the last two months, and we are very excited to see her officially take on all PD duties," EMMIS VP/Programming & Operations CHASE RUPE said. "We’re always proud to develop and promote from within, and in this case, after vetting an impressive, experienced field of programmers inside and outside the building, we believe our best and brightest option is in-house with EMILY.".  

RUPE will be working very closely with McINTOSH for the next few months, but she will be handling all programming-related matters at KGSR. 

McINTOSH has been MD and on-air personality at the station since SEPTEMBER 2015, and before that,was a sales representative for GTM SPORTSWEAR, for the cheer, dance and gymnastics markets.
