CUMULUS MEDIA named TODD O'NEILL the winner of the "NASH NEXT 2016 CHALLENGE" at last NIGHT's (10/25) "NASH NEXT CHALLENGE 2016 FINALS EVENT" in NASHVILLE (NET NEWS 10/10). The HAMMOND, LA native will receive national radio airplay on CUMULUS radio stations, a recording contract with BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP (BMLG), an original song produced by RASCAL FLATTS' JAY DEMARCUS, and a surprise cash prize of $5,000.
O'NEILL performed alongside nine other finalists at the "FINALS EVENT," where they were judged by BMLG Pres./CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA, WESTWOOD ONE syndicated "AMERICAN COUNTRY COUNTDOWN" host KIX BROOKS, DEMARCUS, artist DANIELLE BRADBERY, and fan judge RICK SMITH. "One of the things we always look for at BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP is individuality, and TODD has that," commented BORCHETTA. "We are really looking forward to all that is to come from him."
