The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS is reporting that veteran NEW YORK sportscaster CHRIS CARLIN will head down I-95 to take over as co-host of afternoons on CBS RADIO Sports WIP/PHILADELPHIA. If the report is accurate, CARLIN, currently host of regional sports cable TV network SNY's "LOUD MOUTHS" and radio play-by-play voice of RUTGERS football, will be co-hosting with former EAGLE IKE REESE, who is moving from middays at WIP.
CARLIN, who spent 13 years at WIP sister Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK in various on-air capacities, and REESE would be replacing JOSH INNES, who exited earlier this year and is now at iHEARTMEDIA Sports KBME-A (SPORTS TALK 790)/HOUSTON.
