Shania Twain To Receive 'Icon' Award

MERCURY NASHVILLE artist SHANIA TWAIN will receive the "ICON" Award at BILLBOARD's WOMEN IN MUSIC event, set for FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9th in NEW YORK CITY and airing on MONDAY, DECEMBER 12th on LIFETIME-TV. TWAIN will be celebrated alongside MADONNA, who has been named the "WOMAN OF THE YEAR," and HALSEY, who has been named this year's "RISING STAR," an honor that went to KELSEA BALLERINI last YEAR (NET NEWS 11/11).
