SALEM News-Talk WIND-A (AM 560 THE ANSWER)/CHICAGO host and former Congressman JOE WALSH used his Twitter account to post what appears to be a threat of violence -- usng a particularly Revolutionary War-era weapon, or perhaps something more personal -- if DONALD TRUMP loses the presidential election.
The tweet read, "On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump. On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket. You in?"
On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump.
On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket.
You in?
— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) October 26, 2016The tweet drew responses suggesting that WALSH shoot himself, that he would be going to prison, and that he is "trying to gin up an armed resurrection in case you don't get your way." CNN Anchor and Chief WHITE HOUSE Correspondent JAKE TAPPER asked, "What exactly does that mean?" NATIONAL REVIEW columnist CHARLES C.W. COOKE asked of "grabbing my musket," "Is that a euphemism?," a joke echoed by several other comments. WALSH did not immediately respond to the criticism.
On Nov 9 I'm dressing as a musket and going to Joe Walsh's house because I'm lonely.
— (((Peter Sagal))) (@petersagal) October 26, 2016It takes like 15 minutes to load a musket shot so I don't think you'll get far https://t.co/zihXxcUsOf
— FanSinceOoooOooO9 (@FanSince09) October 26, 2016The response to @WalshFreedom's #musket grab is just so...(kissing fingertips) MWAH. #musketgrabber #grabthembythemusket

BURKE told HO in a text that there had been a visit from the Secret Service and "There was a misunderstanding and it is now resolved." BURKE was on the air this morning and the matter was not raised.
Yeah, really. https://t.co/APS3GOmZG7
