Man Arrested For Trying To Destroy Albuquerque Antenna Farm Tells Police Signals Were Hurting His Head

The man who allegedly attempted to burn down the SANDIA CREST antenna farm in ALBUQUERQUE told police that "the signals were hurting my head," reports the ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL.
BRIAN DORAIS is being charged with the OCTOBER 2nd incident, in which a fire was set at about 2a (MT) and explosive devices placed there in an attempt to destroy the site, which holds the towers for most of the market's FM and TV stations and government communications equipment. On SEPTEMBER 10th, DORAIS' house in MADRID, NM caught fire, killing his wife; DORAIS, who told police that he is a paranoid schizophrenic, said that his wife was into black magic and believed the world would be ending soon, but he denied setting the fire or harming his wife. DORAIS also allegedly visited a Forest Service building shortly before the SANDIA CREST fire and asked who authorized the placement of towers at that location.
DOARIS is facing arson and felony possession of a destructive device charges and is being held on $15,000 bail on a complaint filed in Metropolitan Court on OCTOBER 2nd by the BERNALILLO COUNTY Sheriff's Office.
