Alliance For Women In Media Foundation Opens Call For Entries For 2017 Gracie Awards

The call for entries for the 42nd annual GRACIE AWARDS has opened, the ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION has announced.  The eligibility period for the 2017 awards has been updated to DECEMBER 1, 2015 through DECEMBER 31, 2016; the deadline for entries is JANUARY 12th and early bird entry rates end on DECEMBER 8th.  The awards will be presented at a gala on JUNE 6th in BEVERLY HILLS and a luncheon on JUNE 27th in NEW YORK.

"The GRACIE AWARDS recognize the best and the brightest in all aspects of the media industry, in front of and behind the camera, and have for more than 40 years," said AWMF chair KRISTEN WELCH. "Individuals who are pioneers in content and program creation highlighting diversity in issues and journalistic approach are given the spotlight, truly reflecting GRACIE ALLEN, the namesake of the GRACIE AWARDS."
