CUMULUS and COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME member BLAIR GARNER debuted "THE BLAIR GARNER SHOW" today (10/31) on over 150 stations nationwide. Airing from midnight until 5a, MONDAY through SUNDAY, "THE BLAIR GARNER SHOW" broadcasts from CUMULUS' NASH CAMPUS in NASHVILLE and is syndicated nationally by WESTWOOD ONE. GARNER's first guest for the debut show was MCA NASHVILLE artist GEORGE STRAIT.
Joining the show on a regular basis will be MORNING HANGOVER’s KURT BARDELLA, NASH COUNTRY DAILY Editor-in-Chief LISA KONICKI, and COUNTRY MUSIC CHAT creator/host JESSICA NORTHEY as special correspondents reporting on breaking Country news.
"Fifteen million AMERICANS work the late and overnight shifts...15 million!" said GARNER. "These folks are the backbone of our country -- the ones who dig a little deeper to get ahead and get the job done. We owe them a lot, and this show is our attempt to thank them for all that they do. They are a special bunch that deserves more than jukebox radio."
GARNER had been hosting CUMULUS’ “AMERICA'S MORNING SHOW” since 2013 but stepped down in AUGUST in order to spend more time with his two young children (NET NEWS 8/15)
