Jim Clerkin Moves On From WPYA/Birmingham

SUMMITMEDIA Hot AC WPYA (97.3 PLAY)/BIRMINGHAM PD/middayer JIM CLERKING has left his post following a restructuring in the programming department at the station.

CLERKIN told ALL ACCESS, "I learned a lot from SVP/Programming BILL TANNER, Nat'l PD JOHN OLSEN, and consultant DOM THEODORE during my time at 97.3 PLAY. My thanks to all of them.  Now I am looking forward to my next opportunity."

Prior to joining WPYA, CLERKIN had been APD/MD at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 WXKS (KISS 108)/BOSTON for eight years in that role, and 16 years total at KISS 108.
