An ELK GROVE, CA nuclear engineer has been indicted by a federal grand jury for threatening to kill the President and sending letters to the WHITE HOUSE and CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFBK-A/SACRAMENTO host TOM SULLIVAN containing a white powder.
MICHAEL LEE BRAUN, 51, allegedly sent the letters on MARCH 7 (to BUSH) and JUNE 6 (to SULLIVAN) saying the powder was "poison" and a "death powder." The powder was baking soda. He has been indicted on one count each for the threats to BUSH and SULLIVAN and eight counts of hoaxing and providing false information.
