CAPITOL NASHVILLE group LITTLE BIG TOWN (LBT) held a press conference at NASHVILLE's famed RYMAN AUDITORIUM this MORNING (11/1) to announce a very special partnership with the venue. Launching in 2017, and as part of the celebration of the RYMAN's 125th anniversary, LBT will be the first artists ever to hold a residency at the AUDITORIUM.
With dates in FEBRUARY, MAY, and SEPTEMBER, LBT will spend a total of six nights at the historic "MOTHER CHURCH OF COUNTRY MUSIC." The kickoff date, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24th, will also be the street date for LBT's forthcoming album entitled "The Breaker." The project will feature LBT's recently-released single, "Better Man," which LBT announced at the press conference was written "solo by a young woman in NASHVILLE." That woman? TAYLOR SWIFT.
LBT will also take the opportunity during their residency at the RYMAN to introduce fans to up-and-coming artists. As opening acts and special collaborators, LBT promises that the new artists will be from across several genres, but all will be personal favorites of the band.
