WERV (95.9 The River)/Aurora, IL, And WRXQ (Q Rock 100.7)/Joliet, IL, Raise $17k For Children's Charity

ALPHA MEDIA Classic Hits WERV (95.9 THE RIVER)/AURORA, IL, and  Rock WRXQ (Q ROCK 100.7)/JOLIET, IL, hosted a 13-hour radiothon on WEDNESDAY (OCTOBER 26th) to benefit VARIETY: THE CHILDREN'S CHARITY, which focuses on improving the quality of life for children with disabilities by providing them with equipment and experiences needed to reach their highest potential. In total, the radiothon raised $17,180 and four adaptive bikes were donated.

ALPHA MEDIA Market Manager,BRIAN FOSTER commented on the announcement, “We were very excited to work with VARIETY on our inaugural radiothon.  A bike is an essential part of growing up, VARIETY helps to equip every child with a bike so they can make their own memories.”
