ALL ACCESS extends sympathies to family and friends of singer KAY STARR, following her passing YESTERDAY (11/3) in LOS ANGELES. She was 94.
A performer whose talents touched many genres including Jazz, Pop, Blues, and Country, STARR’s breakthrough came with 1950’s “Bonaparte’s Retreat,” which sold a million copies and led to a series of duets with TENNESSEE ERNIE FORD. STARR’s signature, career hit was the 1952 chart-topper, “Wheel of Fortune.” No word on services yet.
