THE BOSTON HERALD reports that a candidate for U.S. Senate was ejected after using an expletive that went over the air on VERMONT PUBLIC RADIO, which was covering the debate.
VPR News Dir. JOHN VAN HOESEN has barred PETER DIAMONDSTONE from future events in order to protect the station from running afoul of federal decency laws.
DIAMONDSTONE, who was led out of the debate in handcuffs and charged with disorderly conduct, made the comments after claiming more questions were being directed to his opponents, U.S. Representative BERNIE SANDERS and businessman RICHARD TARRANT, than to him.
