CRTC-Approved Deal Keeps CHOI/Quebec City On Air With New Owner

The license for the 98.1 FM frequency presently occupied by GENEX French Alternative CHOI (RADIO X)/QUEBEC CITY, which lost its license in a controversial move by the CRTC, has been granted to RADIO NORD COMMUNICATIONS. 

RADIO NORD reached a deal with GENEX to acquire the format and assets of CHOI and will keep the staff and format of the station intact, and both parties have committed to contributions for artist development.
