Podtrac Releases October Podcast Industry Audience Rankings

PODTRAC's seventh monthly ranking of podcast publishers, for OCTOBER 2016, features the same ten networks in the same order except for swapping numbers nine and ten.  PODTRAC says all ten "increased their unique monthly audience significantly" with an average 20% increase for the month, led by NPR adding 1.9 million and RADIOTOPIA up 30%.  In addition, PODTRAC notes that the top 10 saw 206 million total Global Unique Streams and Downloads for the month, up 10% from SEPTEMBER.

The rankings, which only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
