The Moody Blues' John Lodge Toasts An Evening Of 'Wine And Music' At Henry VIII's English Palace

THE MOODY BLUES' vocalist/bassist JOHN LODGE recently celebrated an evening of “Wine And Music” with his 10,000 LIGHT YEARS BAND at HAMPTON COURT PALACE in ENGLAND, former home of HENRY VIII The acoustic performance featured music from LODGEs current solo album, “10,000 Light Years Ago,” which was released earlier this year. It was held in conjunction with LODGE’s new KRISEMMA CHARDONNAY from his line of wines.
The album reunited LODGE with special guest contributions from former MOODY BLUES members -- flutist RAY THOMAS and keyboardist/mellotron player MIKE PINDER (on “Simply Magic"). Legendary guitarist CHRIS SPEDDING also appears on the album. The new collection was recorded at various locations and completed at THE MIX FACTORY studios in FLORIDA. LODGE just completed a U.K. solo tour in SEPTEMBER, before joining THE MOODY BLUES on tour in the U.S. in OCTOBER.
