Kudos to MCA NASHVILLE artist GEORGE STRAIT who, along with friend TOM CUSICK, hosted his "6TH ANNUAL VAQUEROS DEL MAR GOLF TOURNAMENT AND AUCTION" at TAPATIO SPRINGS HILL COUNTRY RESORT earlier this MONTH. The event raised $1.1 million, pushing the duo past the $3 million mark for total funds raised for wounded military service men and women this YEAR.

The money raised benefits FEHERTY'S TROOPS FIRST FOUNDATION. A former U.S. ARMY member himself, STRAIT teamed up with the foundation founded by RICK KELL and former professional golfer DAVID FEHERTY. Congratulations to STRAIT and friends on their most successful fundraising year to date.
