iHEARTMEDIA Country WEBG (BIG 95-5)/CHICAGO held its "BIG CODE OF HONOR" concert event for Veterans recently to help raise money for OPERATION RIDE HOME, which assists troops in getting home to their families for the holidays. The show was held at JOE'S LIVE in ROSEMONT and featured MERCURY NASHVILLE artist LAUREN ALAINA and STONEY CREEK RECORDS duo THOMPSON SQUARE.
WEBG morning hosts MASON, REMY, and ALABAMA wanted to recognize a Veteran who was unable to attend one of the local parades or events, so the trio took calls all week from BIG 95-5 listeners to help bring the parade to Lt. Col. JIM SKRNA. You can see the FACEBOOK LIVE video of the entire event here. Additionally, WEBG took the opportunity to participate in the "Mannequin Challenge" viral video craze. Check out their take, complete with ALAINA in a DORY onesie a fan gave her for her birthday, here.
