BMG Signs Label Deal, Extends Publishing Pact With Grammy-Winning Producer/Songwriter Malay

BMG has entered into a new label venture deal with two-time GRAMMY-winning U.S. record producer, songwriter and engineer MALAY.
MALAY and manager RANDY COHEN have teamed with BMG to develop up-and-coming talent and will look to sign and release acts to a new imprint backed by BMG.
MALAY produced FRANK OCEAN's "Blonde" and "channel ORANGE," for which he won the GRAMMY for Best Urban Contemporary Album. He also produced ZAYN MALIK's debut album, "Mind Of Mine" and the soundtrack for BAZ LUHRMANN's acclaimed NETFLIX series, "The Get Down," in addition to work with ALESSIA CARA, JOHN LEGEND, TORI KELLY and YELAWOLF.BMG has also inked a multi-year extension to MALAY’s publishing deal, He has worked with BMG for the past five years and is currently a songwriter and producer for upcoming projects from SAM SMITH, AMINE KAI and ZAYN MALIK.
