Imus To Stay Put

As part of NBC's blockbuster restructuring announced last week, MSNBC is leaving its NEW JERSEY-based headquarters for NBC NEWS headquarters at ROCKEFELLER CENTER in MANHATTAN.

But don't look for syndicated radio & TV morning man DON IMUS to join them. IMUS and sidekick CHARLES MCCORD don't plan to move across the HUDSON. IMUS himself said it really doesn’t matter. "I get in the car. It starts moving. When it stops, I get out, and do the show."

Added CBS Sports/Talk WFAN/NEW YORK PD MARK CHERNOFF, "IMUS’ comment is correct. It doesn’t really matter where we do the show from. That being said, we’re discussing benefits of 30 Rock vs. CNBC studios."
