KMCK's JJ Ryan Getting Married

OK, we know it's bit hard to believe, but CUMULUS Top 40 KMCK (POWER 105.7)/FAYETTEVILLE, AR nightstud JJ RYAN is no longer on the market. He and his long-suffering girlfriend ALYSSA got engaged recently (10/14), and there was some drama around it all. JJ, who weekends as a cop, picks up the story:

"I got with another local police department (JOHNSON, AR) and brought a copy of one of our tickets from ELKINS filled out with her info on it and in the citation part put, 'Will you marry me? JJ' ... I planned this ahead of time so we'd be coming back from dinner and go through this city, stop at a gas station so the cop saw us and was waiting to follow us. He pulled behind us after we left, ALYSSA was driving, and he pulled us over for her tags not coming back to the vehicle.

"When he approached the car I told him I was a police officer and my weapon was in the car loaded. So he asked us to stand at the back of her car. This is so she would be on his dashboard camera during the next part.

"Well, he writes her a ticket for this, and while he's doing that in his car (just filling out some other info on the ticket I gave him), she's pissed and talking smack about him while we're on camera. It's funny. He hands her the citation clipboard and asks her to sign, saying he's writing her a ticket for fictitious tags and points to the area I wrote the 'Will you marry me part' -- and she doesn't read past 'me'" and looks at him kinda thinking he was the one asking then reads again looks at me and bursts into tears and freaks out all at the same time. Priceless. I then tell her she can give the answer to the camera, and I point at it!"
