WNKS/Charlotte Hosts Secret Santa For 'Kiss Kids Radiothon'

BEASLEY Top 40 WNKS (KISS 95.1)/CHARLOTTE will host its fifth annual SECRET SANTA for the KISS KIDS RADIOTHON on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd from the SEACREST STUDIOS at LEVINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. MANEY, ROY and LAUREN raised more than $42,000 for the KISS Kids in the hospital last year.

“Working all day to raise money for kids who are hospitalized at the holidays is nothing compared to what these children are going through, all the time,” said MANEY. “In the spring, we stay on the air for 12 straight hours for our ‘Play Anything Day’ campaign raising money for our KISS Kids,” said ROY. “We’re happy to do it again with ‘SECRET SANTA’ during the holidays!”

The trio has raised more than $51,000 earlier this year with ‘Play Anything Day,’ a 12-hour, on-air request campaign, that also helps contribute to the outstanding health care which families have grown to expect at LEVINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. 

“This holiday event is even more special because the money raised goes to provide much-needed comfort to kids, who must stay in the hospital throughout the holiday season,” said LAUREN. “Being able to hand a Teddy Bear to a child and see the joy on their face is so fulfilling. It shows our listeners that they really do make a difference!”
