Milwaukee Radio Alliance Stations Wrap Up Their 'Teddy Bear Posse'

MILWAUKEE RADIO ALLIANCE radio stations AC WLDB (B93.3), Alternative WLUM (FM 102/1) and MILWAUKEE’s True Oldies Channel 100.3 FM/WZTI-A will formally wrap up their “TEDDY BEAR POSSE” campaign on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21st. For the past two-and-a-half months, the MRA radio stations have invited listeners to donate new teddy bears and stuffed animals at over 30 sponsor locations throughout SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN; the collected teddy bears will be distributed to area law enforcement agencies and fire departments for use when first responders encounter frightened children involved in traumatic situations.

“THE MILWAUKEE RADIO ALLIANCE is very proud to support our brave first responders throughout SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN with the TEDDY BEAR POSSE campaign and while we don’t yet have a final count on the number of teddy bears collected, we do know it is well into the thousands at this point, and our hope is to provide comfort to as many affected children as possible,” MILWAUKEE RADIO ALLIANCE GM STEVE KOSBAU said.
