CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DARIUS RUCKER is teaming with building products manufacturer PLY GEM as the 2017 ambassador for its "HOME FOR GOOD PROJECT," which helps build hundreds of homes across the UNITED STATES with HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. The multi-year initiative includes a donation of more than $1 million worth of exterior building products and funds for HABITAT FOR HUMANITY to use to help families nationwide build homes. EMI NASHVILLE artist ALAN JACKSON served as last year's ambassador for the project, which saw more than 300 homes built over the course of the year.
"From an early age, my mother always encouraged us to give back," said RUCKER. "Whether it was mowing a neighbor's yard or supporting a friend, I think it's important to give back any time and chance you can. For me, the opportunity to partner with PLY GEM and its 'HOME FOR GOOD PROJECT' to help so many people at a national level is incredible. I am really looking forward to what we can do together in 2017."
