EPIC RECORDS Chairman/CEO L.A. REID is the first confirmed keynote speaker for the 51st edition of MIDEM, which takes place in CANNES, FRANCE, from JUNE 6th-9th, 2017. The theme for next year’s conference is, “A New Golden Age for the Music Industry? Get Ready to Embrace It!”  

At his keynote, REID will share some incredible stories about his 25-year career and his experience working with many top international artists. “I’m thrilled to be back at MIDEM after being a member of the MIDEM Artist Accelerator artistic committee in 2015, and I’m excited at the prospect of sharing the experience of more than 25 years in the music business with the MIDEM audience," he said. "It’s also a chance to look to the future, as MIDEM highlights this year the immense opportunities brought by the development of streaming in today’s global music marketplace, thus creating a New Golden Era for the music industry to thrive.” said REID.
