YEA NETWORKS syndicated THE BERT SHOW is helping parents with kids who were having more than a little trouble getting up every morning. Parents have been encouraged to call the show to help them wake up their kids in extremely unique ways, to guarantee that they’ll have no problems getting out of bed for school the rest of the year.
The show has coordinated with each parent to arrive at their house and surprise their child with the help of special guests waking them from their sleep. The young listeners have been visited and awoken to performances from a BROADWAY musical cast, five-piece jazz band, EDM DJ, marching band, and more.
Most recently, the show woke up 16-year-old COLIN with personal fitness trainer COREY TAYLOR from AE’s “Fit to Fat to Fit,” who woke him up using his high-intensity motivation. COREY yelled at COLIN to help him wake up and even had him doing some jumping jacks and push-ups as he was startled out of bed.
“It has been mother and father approved”, said THE BERT SHOW host BERT WEISS, who also told one child after the surprise, “Mom says she’s been having a tough time getting you up, she’s tried everything and this was a last resort. We thought this would be a fun way to help.”
The morning radio show broadcasts live on the air during the surprises as well as provides video footage of all of the wake-up calls. They are currently still taking requests from frustrated parents who are still having trouble waking up their children for school.
