Christmas 103.9 Comes To Fort Wayne

ADAMS RADIO GROUP AC WWFW (SOFT ROCK 103.9)/FORT WAYNE, IN, became the CHRISTMAS Music Station at 4p (ET) this afternoon for the third consecutive year.

Said Director Of Programming ROB McKENZIE: “We’re taking it a step further this year. We are actually changing our name for the season to CHRISTMAS 103.9. The weather has been warm this week, but the cold arrives this weekend as it starts to feel like the holidays in FORT WAYNE! The CHRISTMAS ON BROADWAY tree is lit tonight and we love kicking off the season with this traditional signature event in our community….and all CHRISTMAS music on the radio on 103.9!”

103.9 asked listeners when they wanted the CHRISTMAS music to start and decided to push it back this year. Added McKENZIE: “Through various listener panels, focus groups and web polls, a large number of our listeners told us they didn’t want us to start quite so early in NOVEMBER this year. For those still not ready, our regular playlist remains online to stream for our loyal at-work friends.”

CHRISTMAS 103.9 is set to partner on many great events throughout the community, such as “CHRISTMAS on BROADWAY," “Festival Of Trees," “Fantasy Of Lights" and “CHRISTMAS On The Farm," among others.
