BELL MEDIA has unveiled the rest of its daytime schedule changes at News-Talk CJAD-A/MONTREAL after announcing earlier this week that TOMMY SCHNURMACHER will move from his longtime 9a-noon (ET) slot to noon-1p (NET NEWS 11/21).
SCHNURMACHER's former 9a-noon show will now be hosted by former GLOBAL TORONTO news anchor LESLIE ROBERTS, while CJAD evening "NIGHT SIDE" co-host NATASHA HALL is moving into the 1-3p slot, left vacant when BARRY MORGAN recently exited the station.
ROBERTS, who reported and hosted at CTV affiliate CFCF-TV/MONTREAL before moving to TORONTO, where he also hosted a show on CJAD sister CFRB-A and contributed to CORUS News-Talk CFMJ-A (AM640), left GLOBAL in JANUARY 2015 after revelations in the TORONTO STAR involving a public relations firm in which he held equity whose clients appeared on GLOBAL. More recently, ROBERTS has been guest-hosting on CJAD and freelancing reports for Canadian stations from LOS ANGELES.
The changes take effect next week.
