WRFX (99.7 The Fox)/Charlotte, NC Holds Harvest Feast Marathon

99.7 The Fox Pitches In

iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WRFX (99.7 THE FOX)/CHARLOTTE, NC, and SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF METROLINA, raised approximately $13,000 and 5,200 pounds of non-perishable food during the 15th annual HARVEST FEAST MARATHON to help fight hunger in the local region. The drive collected turkeys, non-perishables and cash over the course of two weekends in NOVEMBER with HARRIS TEETER SUPERMARKET CO. the official drive sponsor.

WBTV news reporter and anchor MAUREEN O'BOYLE hosted a press conference on FRIDAY (NOVEMBER 11th to kick off the drive.  99.7 THE FOX on-air personalities MORGEN and JEFF KENT encouraged donations by offering a chance to win premium WWE RAW wrestling tickets to listeners who pledged to donate.  

Commented 99.7 THE FOX PD/on-air personality JEFF KENT: “This annual event, over two weekends, gives our listeners the opportunity to join 99.7 THE FOX for the chance to help local families in need.  Our listeners are extremely generous and show up year over year in support of our community,”
