'CMA Country Christmas' Year-To-Year Ratings Grow

According to the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA), last NIGHT’s (11/28) “CMA Country CHRISTMAS” special on ABC-TV grew year-to-year in total viewers, increasing 34% from 2015 (5.8 million to 7.8 million). Adults 18-49 also showed a yearly increase, growing 44% (0.9 rating/3 share to 1.3 rating/4 share), numbers which ranked the show #2 on the night, behind NBC-TV’s “The Voice.”
The CMA also noted that ABC-TV’s MONDAY lineup was pre-empted in PHILADELPHIA and MILWAUKEE for MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL coverage between the EAGLES and PACKERS, constituting 3.347% of the U.S.
