Al Peterson To Shut Down NTS MediaOnline December 16th

AL PETERSON has announced that his NTS MEDIAONLINE TODAY and NTS MEDIAONLINE MONTHLY trade sites and publications will close after their DECEMBER 16th issues.  PETERSON, the former RADIO AND RECORDS News-Talk-Sports editor, had been publishing the daily email and monthly magazine for 10 years.

PETERSON said that the decision to shut down the operation came during THANKSGIVING weekend, adding, “After serving as the News/Talk/Sports editor for 10 years at the top industry newspaper RADIO & RECORDS, to then creating NTS MEDIAONLINE and building it into a reliable hub for news, information and conversation about Talk Radio for the last decade, it just feels right to start a new chapter in my life – one where I’m not waking before sunrise to a blank page and a daily deadline.”

PETERSON also thanked his NTS MEDIAONLINE partner and RAB SVP/Membership BROOKE WILLIAMS, saying, “Through the majority of these past 20 years, I’ve had the great fortune of having my good friend and longtime sales and marketing partner BROOKE working by my side.  Her efforts and contributions made our success possible while first at R&R and then creating and building NTS.  She’s one in ‘10’ million and I can’t thank her enough for her friendship, profound professionalism, and for helping me put my kids through college!”

His site and email will remain active through the end of the year.  PETERSON said that he plans to devote more time to family and interests outside the radio industry.
