THE WEEKND has broken the single-day record for the most streamed artist on SPOTIFY. This achievement comes on the heels of his brand new album "Starboy." 

In a statement, REPUBLIC RECORDS Chairman/Co-Founder MONTE LIPMAN proclaimed that, “SPOTIFY’s continued support of THE WEEKND has now reached historic proportions and also reinforces the tremendous growth of global streaming.”
