After 26 years as half of the “PAUL & YOUNG RON SHOW,” RON BREWER this morning announced an "extended vacation" from the program. His last show with co-host PAUL CASTRONOVO on iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WBGG (BIG 105.9)/MIAMI-FORT LAUDERDALE will be FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16th.
Said BREWER, “I’ll miss radio, but I’m looking forward to not being on a schedule after getting up at 3:30a all these years. I don’t have any specific plans, maybe I’ll buy an RV, but I’m going to enjoy life and fulfill some bucket list items. The best part is that PAUL won’t have RON BREWER to kick around anymore.”
CASTRONOVO said, “It's certainly the end of an era; an unprecedented 26-year run for YOUNG RON and myself. We sure have had a lot of laughs over the years, and that's what its always been about. I'm happy for RON, and also excited about the next chapter of my career. Yeah, I'm sticking around, so PAUL AND YOUNG RON fans, prepare for disappointment!”
